Episode 100: I Hope I’m Ready

The other day I had an interesting conversation with Shania. It was not unlike a conversation that I’ve had many times over the years. We were talking about the return of Jesus Christ and eternal life.

As we spoke Shania voiced her concern of whether she was truly ready for the return of Jesus Christ. She was concerned that maybe she wouldn’t be a part of God’s salvation through Christ because she had not done enough good works to gain God’s approval. She said, “I hope I’m ready.”

We will see from the scriptures what it is “to be ready” and the importance of speaking in tongues in the believer’s life.
