Episode 93: Speak Life – Live Life
The other day when I met Fay she was wearing a large cross around her neck. I told her that I was very thankful for what Jesus Christ did upon the cross for us. She replied, “Amen”. We then talked about the Lord’s Return and we both agreed what a glorious moment that will be!
We could have talked about the weather or about the meaningless trivial things of the day.
Instead we lived life to its fullest, at that moment in time, by speaking life to one another – by speaking God’s Word and sharing the gospel with one another.
What a joy! What a privilege to love others by speaking God’s Word. And what a tremendous start to the day by praying together. Our Heavenly Father is so gracious and kind to allow us to minister His grace, His mercy and His love to others. We do that by speaking and living His Word.
The interview segment is with Mike Bliss. Mike is associated with the Sports Barn Men’s Bible Study in Bennington Nebraska, which is just outside of Omaha. Mike is the facilitator for the men’s weekly prayer and Bible study group.
Mike shares with us his testimony and the impact Nebraska football coach Ron Brown had upon his life. He also shares the blessing that the Sports Barn Men’s Bible Study is to men in the Omaha area.

I just now saw your email to me. Thank you for sharing this with me. I have been thinking about how to stand in this world and I believe Father is directing me to speak out words of God’s love and desire for His people. Isaiah 33:12 (Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!) comes to mind and I am asking Father how to stand as His woman in our nation and how I can best support His household to declare that the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, HE is God of our nation. I’m open to any recommendations you may have. I trust the love you have for God, His Word and His folks! ^_^
